Take a moment to take stock of what you really want in your life? Can Healthē Habits for Living help you exercise more? Eat healthier? Lose weight? Do you want to shake up the rut you are in for whatever reason?
Step 1
Talk to your doctor then contact us for more details and a free consultation. With your physician’s referral, your sessions are likely to be covered by your health insurance.
Step 2
We’ll conduct a physical/functional evaluation to assess your strength, endurance, function, daily eating patterns and habits. Then we’ll identify lifestyle goals and challenges, and establish an appropriate exercise and healthy eating program together.
Step 3
This is the fun part! Occupational therapy sessions two to three times a week for 6-12 weeks. We will motivate you to change the way you eat, the way you move, and the way you handle stressors in your daily life. We will teach you habit-changing techniques and exercises in accordance with your level of fitness.
We will focus on each individual’s motivations, routines, habits and enviornment. The ultimate goal is to EMPOWER and MOTIVATE you to make this very important journey in your life.
How much does it cost: This program is billable to your health insurance with a referral from your doctor. We take all forms of insurance except Medicaid as primary. Although there is no guarantee of payment by your insurance company, will will verify your costs prior to your first visit.
